She uses a range of evidence-based treatment modalities based on the presenting issues and often uses them in combination to achieve the best result for her clients. She has a particular interest and specialty in DBT and is Schema Therapy informed.

She has a Master of Social Work, is accredited as a Mental Health Social Worker, a member of the Australian College of Social Workers and is certified by the ISST as an advanced Schema Therapist Trainer-Supervisor. diverse settings with a broad base of clients. Matthew specialises in men’s mental health issues,
veterans support, serving military members, elite sports and career performance counselling. His counselling is
heavily influenced by Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy. His beliefs are universal being
that the best therapeutic outcomes can be applied universally to all people, regardless of
specific contexts such as gender, faith, ethnicity, culture or individual differences. Matthew applies his
counselling practice with warmth, care, empathy and through a non-judgemental but open
and honest lens for all clients. He seeks for his clients to achieve their best quality of life through
